Nate and I are betting on the sex of the baby. Anyone care to take a guess? I'm seeing blue, while Nate is thinking pink. In most ways this pregnancy has been slightly milder than Matthew's, except for the nausea that has lingered until week 15 this time. I keep hearing that is associated with girls more often, but I'm still imagining that this little one is a boy for some reason. We will find out for sure on June 11th!
Matthew is talking up a storm now. This has just started in the last couple of weeks. He says the usual words that are spoken often around our house, but now also blurts out words I had no idea he knew at random times. It makes me laugh :) Proud mama alert--- our boy knows all his colors and most of his letters! Having never done this parenting thing before, I'm constantly amazed at how quickly he learns.
Nate and I have taken two trips in the last three weeks for out of town weddings, one to NYC, the other to Bald Head Island, NC. The trips couldn't have been more different, but we had a great time in each location. It was really nice to get away sans toddler and have some time to ourselves, and the weddings were beautiful. Now we're back to work, preparing for Nate's trip to India next weekend. He will be gone for two weeks, but as soon as he returns, we have our big ultrasound to find out the sex of our baby! Life is so good!
